I have the first can of the semi-local Lakefront Breweries 4 style Variety 12 pack. Hazy Rabbit. I don’t think I have had this one before, so let get at it.

I wouldn’t say “very” hazy, but it is close to that. Bright white, semi rocky head make the beer look fabulous. Huge, endless roils of carbonation streams.

Upfront grapefruit, red grapefruit with a pronounced grainy maltiness just beyond it. Even a bit of pine sneaks in here. Nice

Taste runs along with the aroma, Grapefruit but a bit more of the pine, and now pineapple.

The body is much bigger than it appears it would be. But it does have a pithy or lemon peel type feel along with a light but sharp bitterness.

That head sticks the whole way down, and leaves nice lacing. The more it warms the more that the fruitiness comes forward. And is that a bit of… coffee?

This 6.6% Hazy Rabbit IPA is very complex in every area. I really had no idea what to expect, but I liked this one quite a bit

Not a bad first beer in a Sampler pack. I will go a decent 3.75 out of 5.
